Cruise Planners Virtual Discovery Day

Cruise Planners has scheduled a Virtual Franchise Discovery Day for June 2, 2026. The event, also referred to as the Virtual Taste of Green, is designed to provide an overview of the company’s franchise model through two separate online sessions. One session is intended for experienced travel advisors, while the second is focused on individuals entering the travel industry for the first time.

The sessions will include discussions about company operations, technology systems, training programs, and business management tools used within the Cruise Planners franchise network. Guests will also hear from members of the executive leadership team, including CEO and Founder Michelle Fee, Chief Strategy Officer Scott Koepf, Chief Operations Officer Theresa Scalzitti, and Chief Information Officer Brian Shultz.

A featured speaker at the event is franchise owner Susie Flores, known online as “Cruisin’ Susie.” Flores joined Cruise Planners in 2025 after previously working with another host agency. Her business model is heavily based on social media platforms, with a large percentage of bookings generated through TikTok and other online channels. She operates without a traditional storefront and relies primarily on digital engagement and content creation.

During the event, Flores is expected to discuss how technology and integrated systems support online-focused travel businesses. Her experience highlights the growing role of social media in travel sales and client communication. She will also speak about group travel, digital branding, and converting online audiences into bookings.

The event agenda includes information about marketing support available to franchise owners, along with details about training and coaching programs. Cruise Planners plans to outline how franchise owners manage bookings, communicate with clients, and organize business operations using company-provided tools and systems.

Live Q&A sessions will allow attendees to ask questions related to franchise ownership, onboarding processes, operational support, and day-to-day business management. Company representatives and experienced advisors are expected to participate in these discussions.

The event reflects the increasing use of virtual presentations in franchise recruitment and business education within the travel industry. Online discovery sessions allow prospective franchise owners to review company structures, leadership approaches, and support systems remotely while interacting directly with executives and current franchise operators.
